Dino's Gourmet Conch Salad
POINTS OF INTEREST
Dino's Gourmet Conch SaladBe prepared to grab a stool, order a refreshing (albeit intoxicating) gin and coconut water and wait at least a half hour for your conch salad at this popular roadside joint. You can call ahead to try and cut down on the wait if you're in a hurry. The crowds of tourists and locals who gather here are proof, though, that it's well worth the wait. Dino's is credited with being the first to put a twist on the Bahamian staple, adding apple, mango, and pineapple to create the "tropical" conch salad. The vantage point across the road is a great spot for photos. But it's cash-only here.
