POINTS OF INTEREST
Just north of the little fishing village of Six Men's Bay, on the northwestern coast of Barbados, this attractive seaside restaurant serves excellent Mediterranean cuisine and some of the island's freshest fish. Gaze seaward through windows framed with pale-green louvered shutters while lunching on a seafood crêpe, a grilled panini, snow-crab salad, or perhaps pasta with seafood or roasted-pepper-and-chili tomato sauce. In the evening, the menu may include cumin-seared scallops, herb-crusted tuna with green peppercorn sauce, mushroom and green pea risotto, or braised lamb shank with oven-fried tomatoes and mint sauce. Bright and cheery by day and relaxed and cozy by night, the Fish Pot offers a tasty dining experience in a setting that's classier than its name might suggest.
